There are a few things that we can say we are 100% certain. One of them is that we will one day die.

That day we will fall on our knees and confess that Jesus is in fact LORD because we will have him right in front of us. Jesus will either welcome us or wonder who we are. You'll be either so grateful he knows you to get His blessings and welcome you to the light... forever… or will be puzzled and horrified by His rejection.

He will say: "Depart from me you worker of inequity". You will argue: "But Lord, my good deeds easily outweigh my bad deeds..." However, He will not give you ears, and you will be taken to a dark place. Forever. Where “the fire is unquenched and there will be gnashing of teeth.“ Forever suffering. Not a good place.

Why?

Jesus wants you to confess while you are alive that He is LORD!

There is something about humbling ourselves, realizing that we are not in control of our lives or that we are not owners of what we possess, but that everything we are and have is His. That is the understanding God wants us to get. Once you get this, you are then ready to realize the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for you. It's hard to describe. You must experience it for yourself. It's like trying to describe faith. It's a state of mind and spirit.

One thing I can say is that if you do not humble yourself, Jesus does not know you. Is that simple. And forever in hell is a long, long time.

You probably believe that "global warming" (or is it "climate change" now?) if not absolutely true, may be plausible. The argument is: "what if it is true and we do not act now, it may become irreversible". Right?

Well, let me use that same argument for what I'm trying to say here: "what if God exists and the Bible is His word?" If you do not confess you are a sinner and don’t ask Jesus to be your LORD, you may spend eternity in hell. Is it worth to take a chance? Just because of your pride?
